HIS PALABRA · ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility
Updated October 10, 2026.
Scripture is for everyone, so His Palabra should be easy for everyone to use, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across hispalabra.org. This is an ongoing effort, and we review new pages and features as we build them.
What we do
- Every passage and page is available in English and Spanish, and the page language is set so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- Passages are real text, not images, so they can be read aloud, resized and translated.
- Headings, labels and landmarks are used so pages can be navigated by keyboard and assistive technology.
- Animations respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
- Product photos include text descriptions.
Known limitations
The sharing map and the 360° product viewer are visual; product details are also written out in text on each page. Some text on textured backgrounds may have lower contrast, and some small links are below the recommended touch size. We are working on both.
